Why It’s That Easy

The news is filled with a lot of bad things happening all around the world - from the very town you live in to places most people will never see - how many people take a vacation to the polar ice caps? Your friends and family talk about problems in their lives, things they don’t like, and so forth. It’s easy for you to begin to worry, to feel like you have to compete with others (even if it’s just for lower gas prices), or to start rushing around like the sky is falling.

All of these discussions, feelings and events are the very thing you want to avoid.

Whether it’s problems in your life, events taking place in another country or the misfortunes of others, avoid talking about them or thinking about them. Dwell on them and you’ll miss out on the good coming your way. It’s like turning off a switch - thinking about the negative switches you to the receiving things you don’t want mode. All your energy is directed to what you don’t want to happen and to what you dislike, so you attract more of it to you.

If you want gas prices to be too high, keep thinking and talking about how gas costs too much and, by all means, focus on everything the cost of gas is preventing you from doing.

If you want to have problems selling your house, spend all your time dwelling on how bad the housing market is, how prices are falling, and how long it is taking for houses to sell.

If you want to have less money than you need or desire, please concentrate on how money isn’t coming to you, how you spend it faster than you receive it, and how there’s never enough.

There are people who find gas easy to afford.  Every day people, like you and me.

There are people who are watching their house values increase and who are experiencing bidding wars, while they’re neighbors are afraid to put their houses on the market because of what the news has told them “might” happen.

There are people who are watching their bank accounts steadily increase. They find unexpected checks in the mail. Money just flows to them. They can’t help but grin with joy.

And all of these people are doing the same thing - feeling good as much and as often as possible.

In order to manifest your desires, you need to spend as much time as possible feeling good. Thinking about any difficulties going on, no matter whether they’re in your life or another’s, simply doesn’t feel good.

You want the things you want because somewhere inside of you you think that having them will make you feel good. If you’re looking for something to make you feel good, you need to begin feeling good now.

Worrying doesn’t feel good. Complaining about the government doesn’t feel good. Judging others doesn’t feel good.

Speaking words of encouragement, being grateful for what you already have, imagining how wonderful it is to live your dream life…those things make you feel good.

The more time you spend feeling good, the more good will come to you.
