Here’s a wonderful success story from Sara on how following your joy and doing what you love brings success.
“I have been building up to working only at those things which bring me joy for a while now and gradually moving more and more into truly joyful ways of earning money. Well recently I decided to take the plunge and risk going self employed to do more of what I want to do even in these changing times.
“I have been so enjoying myself singing opera with my ballet dancer friend, having created our own show of ballet and opera with me playing my own composed piano music also for my friend to dance to. I also work part time as a therapist and although I will admit to feeling a little bit scared at first at taking the plunge I can say that I have not had financial problems. It has all been falling into place nicely with lots of different payments coming in from here and there but enough to pay all of the bills - I also have more time to do what I love and I also see that this love and this joy is where the real power lies in any case - and I know deep in my heart that this is why it was safe to do it. I also play piano in a hotel which I was doing before but the whole combination of jobs is wonderful and I feel that I am being paid to do what would have been my hobbies if they hadn’t now become my jobs!
“My message is also - do not be afraid to change direction even at a time like this if it fills your heart with joy to do it. You can shine in changing times.”
Here is a success story about manifesting 3 jobs following a recent lay-off.
“Reading your words made me not believe the economy was terrible even though so many people said it was. I just kept feeling good most of the time, imagined where I wanted to work next, believed the job was already mine (even though that particular firm had not listed any positions with recruiters), and remained patient. I found this great recruiter who coincidentally mentioned the same firm as a place where we should send a ‘blind profile.’ The recruiter explained that you almost never got a response on a ‘blind profile,’ but I told her to go forward. Well, the firm said ‘yes!’ I went through two interviews and got the position even though it entails work that is totally different from my experience…. By the end of my job search, my severance hadn’t yet run out, and I had two offers and a call-back. I just signed the papers for the new job today! Thanks for keeping me not so focused on reality when doing so wouldn’t have been helpful!”
I wanted to share with you a great success story from Jade about how she was able to manifest a renewed friendship with an old friend.
“I used to have this really amazing friend last year, and after a challenging time we grew further apart. All I have ever wanted was to have the relationship that we once had, though I was not sure if he felt the same way.
“He is currently overseas and has been for a while now, we rarely emailed and haven’t talked since he left. Before he left we said our goodbyes and for about five minutes we were alone and it was almost as if nothing had gone wrong in our friendship. So I believe now that I can get my friend back. I began to imagine what it would be like when he returns and how he would soon do something to rekindle our friendship, because I had subtly tried and he had not responded the way I had hoped. I have no doubts that he will be my friend again and I have been living without any doubtful thoughts. A few days ago, out of the blue he sent me an email saying how much he missed me and that he was sorry. I had imagined in my head that he would send me something about how he wanted to be friends.
“Now we email almost everyday, and it feels like I have him back. He is also coming home really soon and we have some things planned to do…
It has been over a year since “The Secret” made the Law of Attraction a household phrase. Many people have had wonderful transformations take place in their lives, while others are still wondering if the Law of Attraction even works.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of being a writer. After having my children and battling depression, I did not write again for over a decade. Trying to get back it it was hard and scary. I wrote, and I got rejected. Then I learned of the Law of Attraction in the summer of 2007. I wrote two short stories and submitted them both. Then, three times a day I would visualize receiving an acceptance email, telling my friends I had gotten published, etc. In November of 2007, I got my acceptance email! I kept writing and visualizing telling myself each day that I was a multi-published author with an unlimited about of story ideas and an unlimited amount of creative words to write them. I would see myself looking at a shelf full of books I had written. This summer, I received two more contracts. Everything I wrote last year is now published! Now, I am awaiting the September 2008 release of my two short stories in Celtic Love Knots, Volume 10, and the release dates for a personal anthology of four stories and a novella. Everyone sees me today as happy and successful. You can manifest your dreams.
