I saw a statistic this week that I think will make many of you feel better.

The current employment rate in the United States is 92.4%.

Do you remember in school when that was a really good grade because it meant you got an “A”?

This is not a political blog. I believe people visit this blog to read about manifesting, not my political views.

I just discovered today that a group supporting California’s proposition 8 (to prohibit gay marriage) purchased Google ads that are now being displayed on my blog. The ads are only showing for readers in California.

I have blocked the ads, but they may continue to show for a few hours. I do not support proposition 8 or the dirty political tactics being used by the group in question.

I apologize to anyone who has viewed these ads. I believe in equal rights for people regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or marital status. I have not and never will oppose gay marriage. One of the best marriages I have ever known involved two gay men. The love they shared was wonderful to see. I know if death hadn’t taken one of them away, they would still be together today.
