Many people claim to be using the Law of Attraction properly.  They say they spend all their time thinking positively about their desire and visualizing it so vividly that they can taste it.  But after a couple of weeks without their desire appearing, they begin complaining that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work.  They talk about how it works for everyone but them.  They claim the Law of Attraction is a scam.  They rant and they rave…the whole time asking, “Why isn’t the Law of Attraction working for me?”

The thing is, if they really understood the Law of Attraction, they wouldn’t be doing this.  They would understand that it can take time for things to manifest.  Just as you don’t plant a seed and then dig it up every day to see if it is growing, you don’t ask for something and then look around every day to see if it’s here yet.  You plant your seed and allow it to grow.  You trust that it will happen.

You see, the people complaining about the Law of Attraction allow their impatience to get in their way.  They are so attached to their desire, they don’t step back, take a breath, and look at what is going on around them.  All they see is what they want to see - their desire not appearing.

Yes, they want to see their desire not appearing.  Why?  Often a part of them, even if it’s subconscious, doesn’t want their desire.  They might be afraid of what would happen if it actually did appear.  They might want to be unhappy.  They might simply want to prove to themselves that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work.

And so, they never fully accept the Law of Attraction.  They might try to work with the Law of Attraction, going through the motions.  Usually stopping after a couple of weeks, maybe a month.  They allow the negative thoughts and patterns to creep in.  They give up.  They never really intend to manifest their desire. 

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law and you can’t fool the Universe.  If you expect the Law of Attraction to fail, it will fail.  If a part of you doesn’t want to attract your desire, you won’t.  If you want to give up, the Universe will let you. 

Just remember that the more you complain about the Law of Attraction, the more you will find to complain about.  If you truly intend to attract your desire, you won’t complain.  No matter how long it takes for your desire to manifest, you’ll be okay with it -it will be just the right amount of time.  And you will do whatever it takes for you to manifest your desire.

Complaining is not meaningless. It is not a simple act. It is not simply the voicing of negative emotions or frustrations.

Complaining is an act of creation. The more you complain, the more you manifest the very thing you are complaining about.

No matter how justified your complaints appear, you are creating more of whatever it is you dislike.

It’s okay to have a negative reaction to something. An initial negative reaction isn’t complaining. It’s when you focus on everything you dislike about something, constantly thinking about the negatives, talking about them, reliving them, etc., that you create more of what you don’t want.

Complaining is very easy. For many people, it’s a habit that’s hard to stop. The more they complain, the more they find something to complain about. It’s easy for such people to have something to complain about because they are always manifesting things to complain about. They are literally creating a reality of things they don’t want.

Don’t fall into the trap of finding something to complain about. Focus on the positive, not the negative.

Question: “I want to manifest a relationship with a specific person. How do I do that?”

Hi Adisimha,

While it is possible to manifest a relationship with a specific person, this can be a tricky thing to manifest for several reasons. 

1) You cannot manifest something for someone else unless they want it too. No matter how badly you might want a relationship with a specific person, the Universe cannot bring them to you unless the other person wants what you want. If the other person wants what you want, then you can manifest a relationship with them.

2) It’s easy to become too attached to the outcome, thus preventing your desire from manifesting.

3) Whenever you try to manifest something specific, sometimes you’ll get it, but “it” may not include EVERYTHING that you want. It’s only afterwards that you realize that it wasn’t what you really wanted. Because you are seeking to manifest a specific person, rather than the type of relationship you desire, the relationship you manifest with the person might not be the one you wanted after all - the specific person may not be everything that you truly want.

Focus on what you want the specific person to bring to your life, what you believe a relationship with this person would give you - love, comfort, fun, etc. You can even make a list of everything that you desire in the relationship, such as:

We have a lot of fun together.

He/she is always there when I need him/her.

We have wonderful conversations.

Remember that you can manifest whatever you desire, but it is the Universe that decides when and how you will manifest what you TRULY want. So you would be better off letting the Universe determine how best to bring you what you truly want. And if the specific person you want a relationship with is a match to everything you want, then you will manifest a relationship with them.

Now.  Now.  Now.  Everyone wants their desires to appear as fast as possible.

And who wouldn’t?  Why would anyone want to wait years for something to manifest if there were a way for it to appear sooner?

The good thing is that there is something that can be done to cause dreams to manifest faster.

And the best part is that it is very easy to do.

You see, it all boils down to emotions.  They are the key to manifesting faster.

We think our emotions should match our environment.  When good things occur around us, we feel good.  When bad things occur, we feel bad.  But it doesn’t have to be that way.  We can control our emotions.  We can make them be whatever we want them to be, regardless of what is going on around us.

When we focus on something that we want to manifest, we want to control our emotions about that specific thing for a specific amount of time.  The emotions that we want to feel are thankful anticipation, expectation, and acknowledgement that something wonderful has occurred… We need to simply expect the most wonderful things to come to us and to be so grateful for them.  And the more often we feel this way, the faster our desires will manifest.

Below are two examples of how people tend to view things, with the first being the most common. When reading them, do they remind you of anyone? Do they remind you of yourself?

Example 1: “During the last storm, a tree fell through my apartment window. Now, I have to live in this really tiny apartment, practically a closet, until they repair the damage. It’s on the first floor so all I see is the parking lot, not the park across the street. My neighbor plays her TV really loud all the time and I’m constantly banging a broom against the ceiling to turn it down. I have nothing to eat. Just apples, rice and beans. I’m so sick of rice and beans. I can barely pay my bills every month.  Every penny that I bring in goes out again.  I can never get ahead.”

Example 2: “I’m glad that there was a vacant apartment I could move into while the damage to my apartment is being repaired.  It was so nice and easy to just be able to move downstairs, no hassle, no apartment hunting. I don’t even have as many stairs to climb anymore. I’m glad my neighbor turns the TV down as soon as I hit the ceiling. It’s great that she listens to me. Apples are so nice and juicy. I love the crispness of biting into them.  There are so many varieties of apples, each tasting differently, that I can eat different ones all the time. And there so healthy – after all, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I am glad that I have something to eat. Rice and beans are a complete protein. They’re full of fiber. I am so glad I can pay my bills every month. It helps keep my credit rating high and makes it easier to get a good load, if I ever need one. I’m glad that I make enough money for an apartment, food, clothes, electricity…the Universe always provides me with exactly what I need.”

It’s important to take the approach in the second example as often as possible. The more you do so, the faster you will manifest your desires.
